Faster set-up and changeover mean more productivity.
Since the system software and servo motors control all movable axes, set-up is much simpler, changeover is faster and productive machine time is increased.

The CNC provides data storage for hob life management as well as gear definition, hob geometry and process data to expedite changeovers.

Optional systems include power helix, auto loading, hydraulic work clamping, high-speed hobbing, automatic stock dividing and thermal compensation.

arrives Gear Smart™--ready to put top-quality gears out your door from day one.
All control set-up is completed through a few simple menu entries. No programming
is required.

More consistent tooth spacing.
Our key to hobbing quality is positioning control and superior rigidity of both
cutter and work drives. Million-count encoders are used on all axes;
the hob is servo-driven; linear axes are direct-driven.

Drake GS:H machines use top quality pre-loaded ground ball screws. This system provides excellent lead and index accuracy and consistent tooth spacing.
